In the early evening of Thursday 23rd January 2020 I suffered a stroke which was quickly spotted by my wife and next door neighbour who called an ambulance which arrived within minutes. The Paramedics assessed me and treated me quickly and before I knew it I was in Stockport Stepping Hill A&E Stroke Unit. They have a dedicated unit in A&E. I was treated there and had a scan and was moved to Stroke Ward 10A for 24 hours.
I was looked after and monitored by many nurses and doctors. hey all treated me professionally and with Kindness and explained everything that was happening.
After 24 hours I had another scan and was discharged late on the evening of 24th January. I am now continuing my recovery at home.
I would like to thank all the nurses and doctors for the kind and professional way I was treated which could not be faulted,
"Very good treatment"
