I have been struggling with my mental health for many years. I have been to many different hospitals due to this and every time I would go to a new hospital they would say "I don't think this hospital is the right place for you" or "its a very complex case, we will refer you to another hospital".
This happened continuously for about 5 years until I came to St Andrews. St Andrews healthcare did not see me as a "complex case", they saw me as someone that needed help and support.
I am close to being discharged from hospital and now am a informal patient. St Andrews have given me my life back, all the staff are so supportive, polite and never judge you.
