About: University Hospital Monklands / Care of the Elderly (Wards 14,20,22)

(as a relative),

Dad was cared for in Ward 22, Monklands Hospital, he had many health concerns and the Medical and Nursing staff did everything they possibly could to help him. They realised treatment wasn’t working and asked to speak to the family.

He was put onto palliative care, treated with care, dignity and respect until he passed away last week!

Thank you to everyone who made losing a true family man a little bit easier.

My sympathy on the death of your Dad. From your e mail I can see that he was much loved. At this time it is humbling that you take the time to pass on your thanks to the ward.

I will pass this onto the ward team.
