"Knocked my confidence"

About: Highly Specialist Services / Eating disorder service

(as the patient),

Was initially referred as lost weight due to low mood and didn’t have an appetite, but also really picky with food caused by extreme anxiety and unable to eat a balanced diet. Had the initial assessment before Christmas but didn’t hear anything for a while. Had been told they had been trying to get in touch for weeks but had rang off a private number and only left a message once which I returned. Scheduled an appointment but this was rushed - 20 minutes at the most. Made a meal plan but this consisted of basics and my pickiness/mention of ARFID wasn’t really taken into consideration. Had gone in confident due to putting on nearly half a stone since the last meeting but told I still wasn’t eating enough and felt as if that knocked my confidence quite a bit.
