"Physiotherapy after broken wrist"

About: General practices in Greater Glasgow & Clyde

(as a service user),

Physio is doing a great job - but unfortunately does not have access to my x-rays which means that they cannot easily pinpoint the causes of my pain.

They tell me that the system can't do it.

I am sure my recovery would be faster if all the data was available at physio.

Dear MFMMM

Thanks for getting in touch.

I am sorry to hear that you have broken your arm however, I am glad that your physiotherapist is doing a good job.

Physiotherapists should have access to ‘Docman’ which holds imaging results for investigations that have been ordered by the GP Practice. Physiotherapists should also have access to ‘Clinical Portal’. Clinical Portal is an electronic patient record where healthcare staff can view relevant patient information including the results from x-rays.

I am unsure why your GP Surgery does not have access but if you want to forward the name of your GP Surgery we can look into this further?

Kind Regards

Nicole
