"I can't express how happy I am with the care I have had"

About: Lincoln County Hospital / Breast surgery

(as a service user),

When I was first told by Mr G at the breast unit of Lincoln Hospital, that he advised a mastectomy I was devastated. I am 82 years old and I wondered if I would survive the surgery. However Miss Sami did the surgery and she did a brilliant job.   I was even given a false breast and brassiere by the excellent Beth. Everyone at the breast unit was so kind and considerate. Today I was sent there again  by my doctor as she thought I could have cancer in my right breast. Again the entire staff at the Breast Unit were extremely professional and so very kind. Fortunately I haven't got camcer in the right breast and was so informed by Miss Sami. I can't express how happy I am with the care I have had at the Breast Unit of Lincoln Hospital.

Dear larika

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experiences of the care you have received whilst attending Lincoln Breast Unit. I am so pleased that you found everyone to be ‘so kind and considerate’. It is so nice to receive such lovely feedback and I will ensure it is shared with all of the Breast care team.

Sending my very best wishes

Julie
