"Male receptionist bad representative of the…"

About: Dr Wong and Partners

I find the women receptionist very friendly and happy to help however the Male receptionist is exceptionally rude and let's the practise down as the face of the practise. He does not help, very quick to get you off the phone. I rang because I was enquiring about what should be a repeat prescription. After finding out it wasn't on repeat he tried to put the phone down. It was only when I said my enquiry was not resolved and I need to see a doctor regarding a prescription he said I can only get you one in two and a half weeks. However looking online, there were earlier appointments than this. He just didnt want to help! I was trying to avoid an unnecessary appointment taking up the doctors time. He could have at least passed the enquiry on to a doctor to see if the pill could at least be put on repeat. He is very rude and makes you want to change doctors

We are sorry that you had a poor experience when dealing with a member of our staff. We try to offer a good service to all patients. I am not sure what happened on the day you spoke to the receptionist but he will be spoken to and your comments passed on. I am not sure what day or time you checked the appointments online, but we do have quite a few morning and evening that are 'embargoed' which means they are only released at a certain time of day and cannot be booked until that time so this may be the reason why the receptionist only offered you an appointment so far in advance, his screen may not have updated. We hope that, if you stay with Practice, you will have a better experience next time you contact us.
