"Community Choir"

About: Kilbryde Hospice

(as a staff member posting for a carer/relative),

I came to the choir with my friend who suffers from dementia, thinking that it would help her to get out.  However, I have also found it has been of benefit to me as it has helped my asthma and catarrh. The warm up exercises help me considerably and I do enjoy it.

Dear Satisfied choir member

Thank you for taking the time to post your experience of attending Kilbryde Community Choir on Care Opinion. As Clinical Services Manager I hear many great voices emanating from the atrium every Wednesday. To hear that your respiratory health has improved as a result of bringing a friend to choir is very good news and this proves that singing is really good for everyone. I trust your friend benefits from the choir too.

I will certainly pass your feedback onto Anna our music therapist and the volunteer team who support her weekly.

I sincerely hope that you continue to visit us weekly and your health continues to improve.

Kind regards

Margaret Mary Cowan

Clinical Services Manager
