About: Newham General Hospital

Initially being referred here from another specialist, I was seen in the Gynaecology department in October, quickly to receive an appointment for an MRI scan in November. The scan went well and I was told I would receive the results in the next 2-3 weeks. I have contacted this department every week since to retrieve results or to ask to see someone, it is now nearly February and each week I am told they have no record of my scan results and they are going to do an ‘investigation’ and find out where they are. I am absolutely disgusted at the lack of professionalism and treatment I have received, the waiting has caused me a large amount of stress as a year on from initial GP referral I still have no news and no answers.
