About: Royal Hospital for Children (Glasgow) / Paediatric surgery ( Wards 3A & 3B)

(as a parent/guardian),

He was admitted to ward 3B a few weeks back for planned surgery. Both my husband and myself where very anxious as he was readmitted following his first surgery back in April last night.

The care not only my son received but the compassion showing to us as parents was second to none. All ward staff where amazing, friendly and professional throughout our stay. 

He is now at home and recovering well with the support of the Cleft Nurse Specialist and Gastrostomy Nurse Specialist, as well as the Children's Community Nursing Team.

THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING

On behalf of Ward 3B, the clinical nurse specialist and community teams I would like to express my thanks for sharing your experience of being cared for by all the teams involved.

I will share this with all the staff involved who will be delighted to hear your son is now home and recovering well, and that you and your son received excellent care both in the ward and now at home.
