"Compassionate caring staff"

About: Diana, Princess Of Wales Hospital

I have been under the care of this hospital since 2013 following a diagnosis of oesophageal cancer. I've had numerous hospital admissions, my most recent being in Oct-Nov when I was in C2 for 5 weeks. The care I received has been outstanding and I am grateful for the expertise and compassion of those that have treated me. Spending such a long time in hospital over the last 18 months has meant I've seen first-hand some of the day to day pressures for staff working in a busy hospital, all the more remarkable that the staff are so positive, smiley & committed to caring for us patients! From the care I received in A & E, Endoscopy, theatre, ward C2 and now as an outpatient, I have felt involved and informed about my care and options. Thank you to all the staff, I am extremely grateful.
