"Saddened "

To have my father assessed with his dementia: we were told of the possible effects of medication given to dad but Not of the things happening to him. We would’ve bought him home had we known of the effects of putting him there. And to be told the ward was closing down within days and my Dad being transferred to Gosport hospital without conferring with us till after. From start till end “my Dad died within 3months. So so sad!!!!! Not enough information and guidance given for this very delicate illness!! To give the best care and dignity for my lovely Dad I feel we made a wrong choice.
