This review is also for A&E as well as Geriatric.
My dad has had 5 admissions over the past 2 years, 3 of which were blue light admissions into A&E, 1st with a severe stroke, then 2 bouts of sepsis. In A& E, despite them being so incredibly busy, the staff there are extremely professional and efficient. On the 1st sepsis admission, they were so short staffed, that only 2 nurses were able to cover resus. I never saw them walking, they were jogging everywhere, drugs, fluids, etc in hand and still time for a comforting word, incredible people.
My dad, 86, has spent time on various wards, but I can honestly say that his care on each one has been second to none. All of the staff we've had dealings with, from housekeeping through to senior consultants, have been incredibly kind, thorough, supportive and always ready to listen.
Thank you so very much for the care you've provided over recent years. You can never truly know how much it's meant to us.
"Simply the best."
