I was admitted via my doctor on the same day as attending GP appointment. I was being sent to the unit to rule out the possibility of a blot clot on my lung. Upon arriving from the porters to the surgeon the treatment both physically and verbally was outstanding.
As you can imagine I went to my GP concerned about what I believed a pulled muscle to be sent straight to BGH was very worrying indeed. The care and manner that I was given / received was exemplary.
Both Kim and Lorraine were phenomenal during my time there. Unfortunately I do not remember the surgeons name (he lived in Glasgow) and was the lung specialist. Also there was a gentleman who took my blood on the night that was also outstanding. His bedside manner was fantastic. I have to say of all the hospital visits / stays I have had this was by far the best experience. A real credit to the NHS.
A huge thank you to all involved
