"Wonderful staff teams"

About: Queen Alexandra Hospital

I was seen in A & E at QA for a probable mild heart attack on 17 January 2020, then admitted to Ward C7 and associated “Day Centre” for the weekend. After an angiogram and stent insertion on 20 January, I was discharged the following morning.

I would like to praise all the staff who cared for me: nurses, health support workers, cleaners, and doctors. I can recall at least 33 of them. Their calm, confident care and friendly good humour was so reassuring. The team in the angiogram Lab were equally good at putting me at my ease.

And the kitchen staff should be praised for the tasty food! Thank you.

I'm really pleased to hear that you had such good treatment and the food was to your liking too! I'm sure it must have been very worrying for you so its good to know that staff helped to reassure you.

I will happily share your feedback with the staff involved who will be delighted that you took the time to share this.

I hope that you're recovering well now at home.

Kindest regards

Marion
