"Awful"

Overall I don't have anything positive to say about this hospital.

This hospital urgently needs to be investigated. The lack of care and compassion from some of the nurses was very distressing to witness. Nurses talking to elderly patients in abrupt tones and not meeting patients needs when requested. On one occasion I had to ask a nurse to take a patient to the toilet as they was not listening to her this lead to the nurses making the patient feel bad to which the patient was very distressed. This particular ward was mostly ran by Agency staff wearing different scrubs some without the correct NHS yellow badges that help Dementia patients recognise certain nurses who may be caring for them. This hospital is very outdated ran down and overall depressing for the family members to visit there loved ones. I work in a NHS hospital myself and have done for over 10 years and have not witnessed such awful care that I have seen on wards at Weston Hospital.
