"Quite amazing skills and quite marvellous…"

About: St James's University Hospital

Following the removal of my prostate on October 31st and my subsequent final discharge on Tuesday 14th January 2020, I write to express my gratitude for the excellent surgical work and the very good care and attention that I received throughout the whole process right from the original diagnosis.

All very efficient and absolutely nothing to complain about. Even the food was not that bad and to get WARM toast to the wards - with real butter - was in itself a tonic.

Apparently I am not allowed to name names but you know who you are!

God Bless the NHS and all who sail in her!

Thank you so much for taking the time to write to us.

Your post is wonderful to read and I am extremely pleased that you had such positive experience whilst in our care. I have taken the liberty of passing on your very supportive and generous words on to the Urology Service Manager and asked that they are shared with all the team.

I know they will be delighted to know that they are delivering a level of care that met your needs and fulfilled all your expectations.

With kindest regards
