I attended the practice today for an asthma review. I have been suffering for the last week with a chest infection + asthma exacerbation and I was still feeling unwell today. The healthcare professional/nurse was extremely kind, informative and helpful, giving me a detailed explanation of my condition and the effective way that inhalers work. I am guilty of not always taking asthma as seriously as I should, but her attitude was helpful, reassuring and non-judgemental. Although I needed further medication, I came away feeling reassured about my health - she was a great tonic!
Whilst it's not always easy to get an appointment (which I realise are due to the pressures facing the NHS), I cannot fault the excellent care I receive at my appointments.
