About: Leicester General Hospital

This hospital has honestly been amazing in providing appropriate treatment!

The surgeons were incredibly knowledgeable and used their training and expertise to treat my issue.

The porters transferred me from ward to ward without moaning! They were very friendly and willing to help!

The cleaners were excellent at cleaning all the mess i made!

The dinner ladies were enthusiastic and could not wait to make the patients have the appartising food! Loved the desserts and jacket potatoes were the best!

The nurses were all fully qualified and had human feelings which helped me to interact with them!

The admin staff knew what they were doing and stuck to their job!

The doctors were fabulous in managing my symptoms! They all helped me cope and provided appropriate treatment. They made me feel at ease when i became wild and out of control!

The female doctors who came to do an ECG was great and provided great advice on what to do and what not to do!

The nurses suggested what i can eat to make myself better but i am s fussy eater so i am not sure if i can implement on this one! She was amazing in the way she treated her patients! Only if all nurses were like her, this world would have been a better place.

The security at this place is also good as visiting times are strict! This is to allow patients rest and meal times are catered for! The only 1 downside to this is that young people like me who are close to their family members feel isolated! However, it is completely understandable why family is not allowed with patients all the time. What i do not understand is that why are partners allowed with their boyfriend/girlfriend/wife/husband etc but a mum, a sister, a brother, a dad, bhabhi is not allowed to stay with her child/ sister/ friend/ relative because her child is too old for that support! This is the only thing i did not understand! Having said that the staff were very kind, helpful and polite to my family members too!

I am really sorry for being a nuisanace. I was too loud, i just realised and i am embarrassed because of my behaviour! In real everyday life i am a complete different individual who keeps herself to herself and only expresses emotions that need attention!

Once again thank you for your time. It is much appreciated and i will never forger this experience even when i am 60 years old and you never know i might be back at Leicester General Hospital taking my last breath.
