"Shocking treatment again"

About: Glenfield Hospital

Will never come to CDU again. I was sent Thursday by gp and the drs couldn't have been more helpful. Only criticism of Thursday's treatment was the fact that I asked multiple times for pain relief and never received any.

Was told to come back Friday forma CT scan as they couldn't do it Thursday dont know why as others had been going all day. Was told I would be first for a ct on the friday however I wasn't.

I arrived at CDU for just after 9.30 and had a cannula putting and my obs done once. Was then left until I went for the ct scan. When I got down there the radiologist said no you have to go back to the department as we know nothing about you.

I eventually go back for the ct and once the drs got the results they basically told me to leave and disagreed with the previous days drs advice. So I was sent away in pain unable to breathe still without the inhaler and tablets that the drs the day before said I needed.

Tried to tell the drs that I had a cannula in but they wasn't interested. So i grabbed my belongings with the cannula still in my arm. Which I removed myself and a non clinical staff followed me out of the ward.

Truly shocking experience. Will never return again.

I hope you never treat another patient like this.
