I've had 5 babies in the last 10 years at st Mary's. In this last pregnancy my baby was measuring under the 6th centile and having reduced movements I was put on the pathway. I had regular ctg monitoring and scans. I felt the label of care I received from the Aau team was incredible. Each member of staff I saw there were so lovely and reassuring and I felt they looked after me and my bump well.
As I was measuring small and continuously having reduced movements the team put me in touch with a drs review for my baby to come out earlier. I had my baby Christmas eve at 37 weeks via c section. The team I saw when I had my c section were fantastic. Each one from the surgical team made me feel at ease. The after care I had back in recovery and on the ward was great too. I had low blood pressure after my surgery and the drs kept an eye on me and gave me fluids through an iv drip. The midwives I saw were very caring too. I would highly recommend this hospital for anyone expecting a baby.
"5 star treatment"
