I came in referred by my GP as I had temporary loss of vision and a pressure on my head . Vision came back but was told it's extremely dangerous as I have an ongoing condition that could make me more prone to clotting. So I went in at 1.30pm had bloods , ECG etc I was moved up to a short stay ward to sit on chairs and wait . Nurses were lovely but to wait till 4am and still not see a doctor is quite ridiculous. Anything could happen in that time . I appreciate it's busy but on one hand I'm getting told that it could be life threatening and I shouldn't leave and on the other hand been waiting ridiculous amount of time! I had good things to say about this hospital from last few visits. I had a very bad experience four years ago when I miscarried my baby. To get told by a gynaecologist that "this is what happens when you don't use the pill" as if I'm wasting her precious time. I'd just been through 9hours of labour pain to be treated that way was do upsetting. I was reluctant to come back but was impressed by staff the next few times. I'm quite disappointed in this visit. I should of at least got told that I'm either staying or not . I'm still waiting it's now 4.18am. I'm so upset .
"Ridiculous waiting time 14 hours! "
