"Appointment Rescheduled -without telling me!!"

About: New Victoria Hospital / Outpatients

(as the patient),

Arrived for out patient appointment at New Victoria this week, I had also received a text a few days earlier reminding me of forthcoming appointment, and cost to NHS of failing to attend.

On arrival I was advised that my appointment had been rescheduled, and a letter had been sent advising of this (the day before I received the text), this has still not been received.

I was verbally advised I had originally been booked into the wrong clinic, and would now have to wait over 5 weeks for ‘new’ appointment.

Very unsatisfactory, and also stressful, particularly as anxious to get procedure carried out
