"Compassionate Practice Nurse"

Nurse looked after my husband when he was extremely ill following aggressive radiotherapy to his neck. She was compassionate and effective in ensuring his care at home was optimal following a badly executed discharge from hospital. Nurse used her initiative and experience to make sure all my husbands needs were met- chasing district nurse referrals and arranging a home visit from the GP. Nurse ensured that my husband had the multitude of complicated dressings and accessories to ensure his extensive skin burns remained uninflected and went on to heal well. We will always be indebted to her beautiful and compassionate care at a time when we were very vulnerable. Nursing at its best!
