"The nicest caring nurses and consultants"

About: Lincoln County Hospital / Gynaecology

(as the patient),

From the GP and nurse who first saw me in the surgery to the wonderful staff in Lincoln hospital who’s care I am under now, it was a fast diagnosis and a quick referral to get me seen.

The expert information and how the procedures work and the wonderful care the nurses and consultants have shown me is second to none. They make me feel like I am still a human being and talk me through every step of the procedure. If I don’t understand they explain it again to me. They never make me feel like my appointment is being rushed and that is very important, even though I know they have a very busy day, they give me the time to take in the details of the consultation.

No words can do justice for the people who do this job, whether we are chatting about nonsense to take my mind off the procedure or the nurses are singing along with the radio, you enabled me to still keep my dignity, you kept the atmosphere light and easy. Most importantly of all, you made me feel part of my treatment rather than just a patient to be fixed and  for that I thank you all so very much.

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave your feedback, following your recent visit to the Gynaecology Outpatients Department at Lincoln County Hospital.

It is really lovely to read your comments about the caring nature of the staff and how you were made to feel valued and treated with dignity. Our team are passionate about providing compassionate, patient centred care in line with our Trust's values and the whole team really appreciate it when patients take the time to feedback to us to reassure us that we are getting this right. This really helps to boost morale in the team.
