I recently had a Cataract operation and was last in line. Arrived about 11am and had the op about 3. 45pm.
During the wait and the op, the staff were absolutely Brilliant. I am very claustrophobic and they took the time to cut a hole in the cloth so I could see with my left eye. There was always the offer of tea, coffee, toast or biscuits while we waited and the staff kept us laughing.
This meant so much for me as I was very fearful of the op.
All, during the op the Dr. Cormack spoke to me telling me what was happening and a really lovely guy held my hand. All, of this meant so much to me and I am eternally grateful for everything they did, so a very big Thank You to all.
