Following a bad fall last May I ended up in A&E - as one does - and so began an experience I shan't forget in a hurry, but one which I was extremely satisfied with.
Xrays showed a serious, 4 part break in my left femur. From beginning to end, the hospital staff could not have been more caring and considerate - and helpful. The after-care arranged when I was dispatched home after a prolonged spell, following side effects that developed, was equally good. I was eventually discharged from visiting the Orthopaedic Department 6 months, and 1 week - to the day - after arrival.
So far the re-hab is also working, and I look forward to my next (and possibly last?) physio session at the end of January. The whole staff on the Trauma wards are to be congratulated (and sincerely thanked) for my care.
