About: Borders General Hospital / Acute Assessment Unit

(as a service user),

I have used the NHS Borders Acute Assessment Unit

 on 3 occasions recently and have been so impressed with the care I have received.  All the Staff are friendly and professional and my care has been excellent.  The communication from staff has been open and honest and I have felt included in the decisions making process at all times..

Dear Jaymac

Thank you very much for taking the time to use Care Opinion to share the details of your experience of using the Acute Assessment Unit (AAU). I will ensure this is shared with the staff in the unit accordingly.

It is great to hear that you have felt included in decision making at all times as it is key that we are involving our patients at every step of the process.

I hope you aer now fully recovered and don't need to visit the unit again soon!
