My wife was admitted to A&E on Thursday evening 2 Jan 2020 suffering from a UTI and severe acute confusion. The A&E Department was desperately overcrowded, but once the wait was over the medical care was excellent. She was put on IV antibiotics, then had a seizure and became comatose. She was then moved into Resus (then later into the ITU). The care and treatment she was given was second to none. I looked on in wonder (myself desperately tired after 24 hours without sleep), as the staff dealt with her so carefully - and even made time to explain everything to me as it happened, and express care for me too.
Amazing!
"Excellent care despite desperate overcrowding"
