(as the patient),

Attended Hairmyres A&E recently and would like to discuss the staff and care. 

Booking in at reception, the chap who booked me in was kind and welcoming. I felt sorry for the poor sod as he could barely talk, think he had a cold but he did not let it show, he was pleasant professional and helpful. After a wait I was taken through and seen by Annmarie. She introduced herself on calling me through. She is a lovely nurse, what I would call old school,  to the point, direct, but in a caring professional manor. Wicked sense of humour. More nurses like this please.

After another wait in the waiting area I was seen by a young male Dr - I swear they get younger or am i just getting older? Anyway off track... he was wonderful, took a history and did an examination, put a plan in place and discharged me.

All in all amazing care - I was very lucky
