"Efficient treatment and care"

About: Southampton General Hospital

Following a fall and after 999 call was ambulanced to a&e at Southampton General. Immediately relieved of agonising pain, prayed etc and transferred to Trauma 2 in F1 orthopedics as I had fractured my upper femur. The next day I had a full hip replacement. Nursing staff were very busy but I felt well cared for. After few days transferred to green bay and then transferred to Brooke Ward a stepping stone ward at the Princess Anne whilst waiting for a rehab bed in Lymington. Unfortunately that didn't materialise and on my request and I was deemed medically fit I was discharged home. Well now I have been totally forgotten. I am not happy I have not received a visit from a physiotherapist. When you think I might have had the chance to get a rehab bed with concentrated physio etc there has been nothing.

Whilst I was in Brooke Ward I was seen many days by physios who were lovely and definitely referred me to the community but where are they?
