"Outstanding service and help"

I visit Congleton War Memorial Hospital regularly with my elderley mother-in-law and stepmother. They have regular blood tests taken, occasional scan or x-ray and consultant appointments. For all of these appointments they have to be accompanied as neither of them have access to their own transport and are unable to use public transport so the WMH in congleton is a massive lifeline for them both and for me also due to the fact that I have to fit their appointments around my full-time job and would not be able to get them to Macclesfield or Crewe without having to take time from work. Being born and bred in Congleton, I myself, and my three children have used the MIU at the hospital over the years and have always cherished the fact that it has been available for the people of Congleton and the surrounding countryside areas. Cheshire East should be making maximum use of this precious asset and increasing the facilities at Congleton WMH not trying to run it down as an excuse for shutting it. Please listen to the people Cheshire East and use your most precious asset not abuse it.
