"Poor Care"

About: Arrowe Park Hospital

Referred by gp to go to surgical emergency unit as I was suffering from severe back and abdominal pain accompanied by high heart rate and temperature. I spent almost 8 hours In the department and was given various tests which showed I had inflammation of abdominal and chest cavity.I was eventually seen by clinical surgeon and examined and even though I was clearly in pain still and he didn't know exactly what was wrong with me said I could go home, no mention of pain management whatsoever. I eventually made it to my car in sever pain and got home and spent a sleepless night in the worst pain I have ever encountered feeling totally let down by hospital.
