"caring and professional staff"

About: Aberdeen Maternity Hospital / Obstetrics (Maternity care)

(as the patient),

I was admitted to the labour ward at Aberdeen maternity hospital in August this year. I was to be induced, 12 days over with my first baby..after an unsuccessful induction I was taken to theatre for an emergency c section.

I'm writing to share what a positive experience we had. Every member of staff we encountered from admission through to discharge the next day were caring and professional. In particular the theatre staff who delivered our wee boy safely, looked after me and talked us through every step and made the whole experience very special.

Thank you all for the amazing work you do daily.
