I attended for an elective laparoscopic inguinal hernia repair. The experience was first class throughout and the team did everything to accommodate my available dates as I travel a lot in my work. The surgeon (who I wish I could name!) did a spectacularly good job using the TEP procedure. 9 weeks on, no hernia, no pain and three rapidly fading micro-scars. He also recognised my interest in the procedure and my concerns about the possible risks and was totally reassuring. All the staff on the day were fantastic. Whilst I prefer to not return (!) I would not hesitate to come back to Countess of Chester. Try telling me there is anything wrong with the NHS!!!
