"Excellent diabetes support"

I am not a regular patient at this practice but was called out of the blue to attend a new diabetes group. Having been struggling in the at risk category for a number of years, I was despairing as my weight was going up despite a better lifestyle. I felt very awkward in the first two weeks but with enthusiastic support I have managed to go low carb and lower my blood sugar and lose weight over the last 8 weeks. The normal NHS approach of treating the symptoms was not working for me but now I am able to actually understand how to fight the problem itself. Long may it continue and I thoroughly recommend that other people in my situation be allowed to have the same experience. Thank you very much!
