"Mis communication, but helped by receptionist"

About: Change Grow Live / Spectrum - Hertfordshire Drug & Alcohol Services

(as a service user),

At the beginning of December I posted a review stating that I had tried to contact my alcohol recovery worker.   After me leaving 4 text messages and 1 voicemail message I had no answer at all which made me more anxious for what I suffer from. I then called and spoke to lady at reception who handed me my recovery worker. They informed me they had not received all messages from me and voicemail & stated they would call me the following day. I waited all day with no call at all. I was so upset.

Since then I have received wonderful help from my Psychology lady and many others at reception. Thank you. I don't know why this happened previously and hope this never happens again. But thank you for helping me the other day. I am grateful.

Hello,

Thanks so much for sharing your story.

I'm very sorry about the anxiety this has caused you but I'm also heartened to hear that you've received good support from our psychologist and from reception staff.

I'm keen to understand more about what's happened regarding the text messages and calls you've made so we can prevent this from happening in the future - can you send me an email so we can discuss further please?

My email is Sam.Larkin@cgl.org.uk.

Thanks,

Sam
