During the course of my brain tumour presenting itself, I had the privilege of being treated under the Professor. I had three brain surgeries over four months and three inpatient encounters and all the staff of Ward 11 South were really totally amazing and attentive, from the porter staff, catering services. nurses and floor managers and all the way through to the surgeons and consultants really were so friendly and engaging in talking and explaining to me personally every time, at every stage of my treatment, they made what was a frightening experience for me, as at ease as they could have possibly made it for me, which I will always appreciate not just the actual care but also the human element of the care I received. There was a nice atmosphere on the ward and I really couldn’t have asked for anything more, my needs were really looked after and I will always appreciate the outstanding efforts I experienced.
