"Phenomenal Team"

The consultant and his team have needed to operate on me in emergency conditions 3 times in 15 days. Given that I had gone from a normal lifestyle to requiring emergency spinal surgery, the first op came as somewhat of a shock. I would say that the consultant and all members of his team have been outstanding in their bedside manner, ensuring that I understood fully what was happening, listening to and addressing my questions and concerns, and making me feel like I could put my complete confidence in them as a team. The care I have received from all staff within Salford Royal has been outstanding. I could not recommend my consultant and his team highly enough, and I have found Salford Royal to be head and shoulders above any other hospital in terms of medical and nursing care, support staff and cleanliness. I would highly recommend Salford Royal and the Neurosurgery Team and I can not thank them enough for what they have done for me so far. A special mention to B8 and the Neuro short stay Unit is in order, the nursing, support and DCA staff on these wards have been amazing.

I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone that has been involved in my care - you have made a distressing and unnerving few weeks bearable, I’ve even laughed quite a lot with the staff which has kept me going. Thank you so much for all you have done.
