Big thank you to the fantastic team in the Surgical Day Case Unit at St Michael’s, Bristol, who fixed my hernia today! Faultless service all delivered with plenty of festive cheer (incredible given the ridiculously long shifts some of the nurses were pulling!). I can’t understand why anyone would want to go private! Thank you and thank our NHS. Happy Christmas!
