"Care for my mother was exceptional"

My mother was recently admitted to the emergency care unit (ECU) at University Hospital Wishaw. She was diagnosed with an obstructed bowel. However, due to other co-morbidities she was not fit for surgery. She remained in the ECU until she sadly passed away. We stayed with my mum 24/7 for her final 3 days. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to all the nurses and doctors on duty at that time including day and night shift and the palliative care team. The care my mum and the family received was exceptional the staff could not do enough for us. We truly appreciated it.
