"Learning not to be an enabler"

About: One Recovery Bucks / High Wycombe

(as a parent/guardian),

My son has an addictive personality which has led to him dominating my life for the past 5 years. Friends saw the impact his behaviour was having on my life and suggested I contact One Recovery Family Service in High Wycombe.

The service has been a lifeline. It is helping me learn how to manage the impact my son’s behaviour and reminding me to take care of myself. Thanks to Lucy also.

Hi there,

Thanks so much for taking the time to give us your valuable feedback about using our family service. We believe that it is crucial that family members and other loved ones are supported in their own right when they are impacted by other peoples use. It is great to hear that you have started to consider your own needs (something which can very easily be forgotten when living in a family with addictions)

I will ensure Lucy gets your feedback, she is a really valued member of our team.

Can I wish you all the very best.

Kind Regards

Tracy
