"Getting nowhere with GPs"

About: Stenhouse Medical Centre

(as the patient),

In the last few months I have seen several GPs at our joint practice surgery and each one has dealt with one main symptoms but it seems that no-one is willing, or has the time to "joined the dots" and considered the whole picture. In the last 6 weeks I have had my blood pressure medication increased 3 times, but the doctor I saw today could only say " it comes with age", ignoring the fact that it fell slightly after the first 2 medication increases but has now shot up again. No doctor has the time to discuss everything that   is happening to me - such as painful lymph nodes which had one doctor " baffled" so I felt they choose to ignore them.

Dear Patient

I'm sorry you feel you've not received joined-up service at Stenhouse Medical Centre. Unfortunately, without knowing who you are and who you have consulted at the surgery, I can't comment on what's happened. If you would like to contact myself, or one of the Partners, we would be happy to meet and discuss your concerns and hopefully resolve these issues.
