"Broken Wrist"

About: Inverclyde Royal Hospital / Accident & Emergency Inverclyde Royal Hospital / Trauma & orthopaedics

(as a service user),

Fell at home and broke my wrist. I can only describe my treatment at IRH as exemplary. Everybody was helpful and kept me informed. I use an insulin pump and the teams all seemed to understand what was required - and let me manage things on my own.

Dear MFMMM,

I'm sorry to hear you had the misfortune to break your wrist but heartened to hear that you found everyone helpful and communicative.

It's recognised that patients using insulin pumps are best placed to take control, so I'm glad that you felt the staff were understanding of this.

Thank you for taking the time to post such lovely feedback which I have shared with the service manager and lead nurse for orthopaedics to pass on to staff.

I trust you are now well on the road to recovery and wish you a happy festive season.

Kind Regards

Heather
