"Great care from day surgery team"

Recently had day surgery at Forth Valley Royal and wanted to commend all the team there for their excellent patient care. The staff were great, from offering extra blankets whilst we were waiting, to regularly informing us when we were expected to be taken to theatre, and apologising when earlier surgeries overran. I was having a gynae procedure and was very impressed with their efforts to maintain my dignity, from the nurse holding my gown closed whilst I took my final underwear off, to keeping everything covered until the last possible moment. And special thanks to the nurses who stayed at my head end to distract me through a slightly uncomfortable surgery. Rounding off with a cup of tea and a tunnocks tea cake!
