"Lack of Nursing Support "

Today, I attended an appointment with New Street Surgery. When attempting to book a medical diagnostic test (as prescribed by the GP), the receptionist advised me that only the practice nurse could conduct it and that the first available slot was not until the 30th of January next year (7 weeks away). This has left me anxious and somewhat confused - I am disappointed and incredulous that just one member of staff is able to provide this service (for both New Street and it’s sister surgery in Milnthorpe). I feel let down.
