(as the patient),

I had an IUD fitted and having never had a smear or anything before due to my age I was very nervous. 

The staff were absolutely wonderful at putting me at ease and understanding my reasons for choosing what I did- something I haven’t experienced with some other professionals and so it was comforting to know my choice was supported and made me feel much more relaxed. 

While the actual procedure was really painful, I was supported by a support worker (I believe!) who was also in the room. She was so kind also and made me feel so comfortable. Talking to both of them was like talking to a friend. 

I just wanted to say thank you, as a quite daunting procedure was made so much better and easier for me by their professional yet friendly attitudes.
