"Extremely disappointing service"

About: Scunthorpe General Hospital

My mother has been waited days for an MRI scan after being admitted to SGH. When finally seen, they had no record of her request and communication was poor. All clinicians were surprised at the delay in both getting a scan and getting the results. To date, she is still waiting to find out her results which is causing concern for her and her family. The surgeons are equally frustrated as they aren't able to treat her until the results come back. Apparently this is a common problem so clearly needs addressing.
