Heart attack, ccu, and cardiac rehab. September 2019 presented with chest pain. Saw the best of our NHS, casualty staff brilliant, got settled as a boarder in HDU for a few hours, then into CCU. All staff are fabulous. Over to GJ for angiogram. Now attending Cardiac Rehab twice a week. I would urge anyone to attend these classes, not only for the physical benefits but emotional benefit too. Also the staff there can answer your questions regarding your condition and there is input from dieticians too. Cannot praise this department enough. After a cardiac event you can be left feeling afraid, emotional, and sometimes angry. I am well on road to recovery thanks to our NHS.
"My cardiac event."
