Having been assessed recently for an eating disorder it was deemed that I did not meet criteria. This was due to my BMI being considered in the ok range, I struggle daily to look at myself in the mirror as I see fat! I was told I could re refer myself to I talk. Whilst I appreciate there has to be cut off and criteria I feel that when someone comes for help, to prevent a further decline in mental health it should be supported and taken more seriously. In the long run it will cost more if I were to spiral than if I received a short piece of intervention now. I continue to try to seek help though there appears none out there for me. I am disappointed that I was left with nothing as on the surface ‘ I am ok’
